Heaven is a Plate on Earth

This one contains a lot of water melon, as the weather has been so hot lately.

I made a fruit platter to celebrate the World Cup final. Now it's time to sit back and enjoy...may the best team win!

This is the plate that started it all: my first ever attempt at food art. I put it together in my tiny Tokyo hotel room after several days of admiring Japanese bento lunches and and afternoon spent watching My Neighbor Totoro.
